UPCD ENHANCEMENT COURSE IN COMPLETE DENTURES PROSTHODONTICS



FAQs

1. The continuing education course is non degree granting. A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to successful participants upon completion of the course.

2. The course starts in JULY 2024 with:

  • Hands-on Clinical Management of Live CD Patients
  • Complete Denture Prosthodontics Laboratory Work 
  • Face to face lectures by UP Prosthodontics Faculty
  • Consultation with UP Faculty on difficult complete denture cases

3. The course fee is P85,000. This will be settled with an initial cash payment of P8,500 as enrollment and registration.  Deposit can also be made at a designated bank.

4. Clear image of the bank deposit slip will please be emailed to aguiluzlissa@gmail.com.

5. The original bank deposit slip will be submitted on the 1st day of the course.

6. On site registration will not be accepted.

7. Refunds will not be available once the course starts. Two (2) weeks prior to the start of the course is the minimum time to request for refund. Release of the refund is at the discretion of the college.

8. Balance of P76,500 will be paid every week in installments. Cash payments are preferred.

9. Credit card payments are not accepted.

10. Classes are held every Sundays from 8:00AM to 5:00PM (8 consecutive SUNDAYS) at the UP College of Dentistry, Pedro Gil street corner Taft Avenue, Ermita, Manila.

11. Participants will provide their own dental materials for the entirety of the course. A list of generic dental materials will be provided to registered participants.

12. Participants can bring their own private complete denture patients for management during the course. Only one (1) patient per participant will be accepted for management.

13. Professional complete denture patients can be provided to the participant if preferred . The professional patient's fee including transportation cost, if any, will be shouldered by the participant. 

14. The participants will be provided with (3 meals daily) breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack during the duration of the course.

15. There will not be any make up class if the participant is absent.

16. PPE is the required attire.

17. Vaccination cards are required.

18. A valid PRC card is required.

19. The course will be awarded CPD points under the SELF DIRECTED LEARNING category upon discretion of the PRC.

20. UPCD Certificate of Participation will be awarded to participants who will complete the course.
