THE COMPREHENSIVE RESTORATIVE AND ESTHETIC DENTISTRY

OCTOBER 24, 2022 – FEBRUARY 22, 2023

CRED GRADUATION

After two and a half years of inactivity due to the pandemic, the Short Course in Comprehensive Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry (CRED) was once again offered. Maintaining the same slate of resource speakers and facilitators, the course was held from October 24, 2022, to February 22, 2023. There were 38 participants coming from all over the Philippines, with one participant from Taiwan. Several participants were from the academe, and they were joined by two of our faculty members, Dr. Maxine Anne Remulla and Dr. Criszel Buenaventura. Another UPCD alumna, Dr. Abby Tamayo joined the course.

Workshop on Crowns and Veneers

Started in 2010, CRED includes lectures, hands-on workshops on various restorative and esthetic materials and procedures. Participants are expected to apply these learnings in diagnosing and analyzing restorative and esthetic treatment needs of the patient, and to formulate an appropriate treatment plan to create biologically sound as well as esthetically acceptable restorations.
Workshop on Direct and Indirect  Onlays/Inlays

Workshop on Direct Composite Restorations

The hands-on exercises and clinical conferences were held both at the UP College of Dentistry and Hotel Kimberly. Graduation was held in simple ceremonies at the UPCD Auditorium on February 22, 2023.
