UPCD MAKES ITS PRESENCE AT THE 2026 FDI WORLD DENTAL CONGRESS IN PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC

September 4-8, 2026

Dr. Armin Segarra, Dr. Julianne Eris Navarro and Dr. Hannah Bringas presented their papers during the recently concluded FDI World Dental Congress in Prague, Czech Republic. UPCD was the only dental school from the Philippines that presented scientific papers in the world's largest dental meeting. 

Dr. Segarra's case presentation was on "Digital Dentistry and Minimally-Invasive Techniques Towards Predictable Esthetic Restorations" while Dr. Eris Navarro's poster was about "Barangay Community Health Workers for Maternal Oral Health Promotion." Dr. Hannah Bringas discussed "Barriers to Oral Hygiene in a Philippine University Hospital Setting." Aside from the three presenters, Dr. Celina Garcia, a frequent presenter in IADR meetings, was present to support the group. 

Dean Michelle Segarra and Dr. Armin Segarra, the interim College Officer for International Linkages, were also able to meet and network with some faculty members from our partner universities and FDI officials during the Congress.
