UPCD Review Class and Refresher Course

The Dental Board Orientation Program, was conceived by Dean Leonor C. Lago during her deanship in 1997. It is a series of lectures aimed at summarizing the highlights of each of the fields of dentistry to help UP graduates and other enrollees review and prepare for the dental licensure examinations.
Presently, it is offered twice a year in preparation for the May and November examinations accepting 50 to 80 reviewees per batch. The program boasts of 65%-80% passing rate for enrollees from other dental schools and a consistent 100% for UP graduates from its beginnings in 1997 up to the present with very few exceptions.
The Dental Refresher Course which started in 2011 and the Online Refresher Course in 2015 are parallel platforms offered once a year and geared towards providing a more comprehensive
training in test-taking for both the theoretical and practical segments of the examinations. They
are specifically for underboard dentists based locally and overseas, respectively.
