A mass CPR training was attended by the non-academic staff last April 3, 2024 at the UPCD Auditorium. The training given to UPCD is part of a series of CPR training sessions spearheaded by the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) – Technical Working group under the UP Manila Health and Safety Committee.
The training aims to provide basic knowledge on cardiopulmonary resuscitation and awareness of sudden cardiac arrest. The participants were trained on how to do chest compressions and in the use of AED as well as emergency aid for choking.
Several faculty members led by Dean Michelle Segarra, Asst. to the Dean Dr. Josievitz Tan-Zafra,attended the CPR training.
